Punk rock band Pistolhead were formed in late 2015 by friends Carlo-Angelo Mariano and Ken Jones, students at Tech Music School and were later joined by Seb Kromp (2016) and Leo Mollon (2017). Pistolhead are influenced by the late 70’s punk revolution, classic rock and blues, with a nod towards post-punk and folk-influenced bands like Half Man Half Biscuit and The Fall. Pistolhead have been compared to The Clash, early Jam and Sham 69, but their sound is unique to them, creating a wall of sound with fast and brutal riffs, creative harmonies and folk-influenced songs to make their unique yet familiar sound. Pistolhead have played gigs all around London including The Gunners, Raven’s Ait Beer Festival, New Cross Inn, The Hawley Arms, Dublin Castle and the prestigious Half Moon in Putney. 2017 has begun with a bang with their single ‘Strawberry Hill’ receiving airplay in New York on WITR 89.7 and in the UK on Cambridge 105, Vixen 101, Neue Regal Radio, various radio stations in Germany and support slots with UK punk rock legends The Vibrators in March and April 2017.

Meet The Band
Ken Jones (Bass, Lead Vocals) – Original founding member along with Carlo and chief songwriter, it was always Ken’s dream to rock out in a Punk band and after many hours sat glued to the HiFi listening to The Clash, took up the bass and went on a mission. Born in Worcester and raised in the West Midlands, Ken finally found his way in the London music scene and formed Pistolhead. Extra-curricular activities include playing the didgeridoo and running (watch that lamppost!).
Seb Kromp (Guitar, Backing Vocals) - From Bremen in Germany comes the ball of energy and all round good guy that is Seb Kromp. Never one to back out of a party or a jolly good mosh, many of Pistolhead’s gigs have been gotten due to Seb representing the band at every single after party until 4am. Comfortable playing a range of styles of music from heavy metal to Spanish guitar, Seb finds himself back exploring his punk roots in Pistolhead – and long may it continue!
Carlo-Angelo Mariano (Drums) - Born in the Philippines and schooled in Bedford, original founding member Carlo is very much in demand for his session work and keeping time is all in a day’s work for the doctor of rhythm and wheels of the Pistolhead rock ’n’ roll train. Loves a good burger and can be seen in any burger establishment at any time consuming one. On hiatus until early 2018 when he will return back behind the kit.
Leo Mollon (Guitar + backing vocals) – The most recent addition to the band, Leo lived in Rochester, Kent until he was 14 until moving to Basle, Currently back in London studying drums but with an equal amount of talent on the guitar. Currently filling in on Drums until early 2018.
